January 31 to February 16, 2014, Quebec will be completely under the spell of Carnival!

In addition to the main site on the Plains of Abraham, where a large variety of activities will be offered to enjoy the joys of winter, Carnival spread its magic in many other areas in the city. Eight carnival streets offer a thematic animation for the occasion. From February 1st 1 to February 16, just a few steps away from our hotel animations, traditional music , an ice bar with a traditional glass of Caribou are awaiting  you ! For the occasion, the neighborhood streets also will be decorated with beautiful ice sculptures.
In 2014, a VIP section has been developed for several Carnival activities such as parade nights (February 8 and 15 ), the  crossing of the St. Lawrence River in a canoe on ice (9 February), SAQ Queen’s Ball( Feb.14) , and more, a guarantee for fun during this great event ! Also new this year: Snow cross! This competition, which is part of the largest snowmobiles circuits in Canada, will be held on a track Levis. Specially designed for the occasion, 200 competitors, amateurs and professionals, will race on February 1st and 2nd....
For the 2014 edition, to the delight of all:  the Carnival duchesses are back!

However, my favorite coup de coeur is one of the classics of Carnival: the International Snow Sculpture competition on the main site. For this occasion, held on the 2nd and 3rd weekend of the event, artists from all around the world, some of whom see snow for the first time, sculpt monuments out of huge blocks of snow ... A not to be missed, as the final works are amazing !

To enjoy the “Carnaval de Québec” in all its glory, I invite you to visit the website of the event and contact us. We will assist you in planning every detail of your stay!

Happy 60th Quebec Winter Carnival to all of you!
