    Celebrated Chef Julien Dumas joins Auberge Saint-Antoine’s Panache3/28/2012

    After a world-wide search for the ideal candidate, the Auberge Saint-Antoine, the Price family and its General Manager, Jean-Louis Souman, are pleased to announce the long awaited appointment of Julien Dumas as Head Chef of Panache restaurant. Mr. Dumas, a renowned French chef, will take his place as the celebrated restaurant’s leader in early May.

    The Tailor

    Mr. Gaudiose Montreuil, a tailor living at 12 rue Saint-Antoine in the late 19th century, often used buttons made of bone, some of which were produced in Québec City. Button makers sliced bone into thin layers and cut out discs that were then pierced with holes, decorated, and polished.
