In the pure German Christmas Market tradition, this open air market with typical wooden kiosks offers you typical German mulled wine, cookies, gingerbread, roasted chestnuts, Bratwurst and local products. This is also the place where you can buy handcrafted Christmas decorations and other high quality crafts. Free Christmas concerts on the weekends! It’s a rendez-vous at the town hall square

Festi Lumière – Aquarium du Québec - Dec. 26th 2012 to March 9th 2013
For the fifth year in the row, the grounds of the Aquarium will be the host of a spectacular light show. Thousand of lights in all colors, creating various shapes and themes, trees of lights, ice sculptures and a gingerbread house will light your evening.

Concerts and Shows A wide variety of Christmas concerts and shows for everyone are also offered throughout the city. At the top of the list, among the major events of this season, is the show Studio 54 at Cabaret du Capitole. A colorful show where you can relive the best years of Disco in a festive atmosphere! Jump on the dance floor! Presented on Nov. 30th, December 1st,6,13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22 and 31st. Here are some suggestions of shows that are also offered, like the fabulous Star Academy Christmas Show, presented from December 4th – 31st at the Capitole Theatre. The Boogie Wonder Band will set the dance floor on fire at the Imperial Theatre on November 30th, December 1st,6,13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22nd . On December 15th, Québec City’s Gospel Choir will give a presentation at Théâtre du Petit-Champlain.
