Dig and discover when experience and learn first-hand about the centuries-old artifacts uncovered during the construction of the hotel—the very same artifacts that are now displayed in the property’s common areas and accommodations.
Learn about the different periods of Ilôt Hunt, one of Québec City’s most important archaeological sites, as you tour through the hotel and admire the French cannon, Dauphine Battery, and artifact displays on display in Café-Bar Artéfact. Visit Panache restaurant, which resides in a maritime warehouse built in 1822—the only maritime warehouse of its era remaining in Québec City—before moving on to Foyer Maillou where you’ll find artifact collections displaying the personal belongings of four different occupants from 17th through 18th Centuries.
