Rooms
What time is check-in? Can I arrive earlier?
Check-in is guaranteed from 4:00 p.m. Early arrival may be possible depending on availability.
Luggage storage is available while you wait for your room.
What time is check-out? Can I leave later?
Check-out is at 12:00 p.m. Late check-out may be available depending on availability; please ask at the front desk.
Is there an age minimum for check-in?
The minimum age for check-in at the hotel is 18. Children are of course welcome when accompanied by an adult.
What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?
Off-season: free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival. Should you wish to cancel your stay 48 hours or less prior to your arriva, the first night will be charged.
High season (June 16th to October 15th, and December 23rd to January 2nd): free cancellation up to 15 days before arrival. Cancellations within 15 days are fully charged.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome. A CAD 45/day fee includes water bowl, blanket, treats, and waste bags. More info
Are children welcome?
Yes, children are always welcome at the hotel. For groups traveling with children under the age of 12, special amenities are placed in the room upon arrival. Children until the age of five enjoy free breakfast. Films, games and a private screening room are available on the property, and our concierge can arrange babysitting services as well as children’s activities. Are there refrigerators in the rooms?
Yes, but mini-bar service is only available on request.

Yes, Wi-Fi is free for all guests.
Is smoking allowed at the hotel?
No, we are a non-smoking property. A fee of $250 will apply if this rule is not respected.
Is parking available?
Yes, valet parking is available for CAD 45/day.
Is there an airport shuttle?
No, but our concierge will be happy to arrange airport transfers for you.
Is the hotel accessible for guests with reduced mobility?
We do our best to follow ADA guidelines and ensure our website and property are accessible to all, including those with disabilities. We offer accessible guest rooms, and our terrace (seasonal), restaurant, spa, fitness center, concierge, and indoor parking all offer accessible routes for those with disabilities.

Can I buy souvenirs on site?
You can buy Auberge souvenirs in our online store, and travel souvenirs in the Petit-Champlain district, which is teeming with souvenir stores.
Is it possible to visit the Auberge?
The Auberge is very attached to its historical past, and we have a collection of artifacts on display throughout the hotel. While some of it is only accessible if you're staying with us, the common areas can be visited on a guided tour. You can also take advantage of your stay at the Auberge to visit the Museum of Civilization, just across the street.
How far is the airport and train station from the Auberge?
Québec Airport: under 30 min by car, 1 hour by bus.
Gare du Palais: 6 min by car/bus, 15 min on foot.
Restaurant and bar
What dining options are available at the hotel?
Coteau: offers a unique gastronomic experience, where Québec’s local cuisine, sourced directly from our Ferme du Coteau, meets creativity and seasonality in a historic setting with views of the Saint Lawrence River. Reservation required. Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Bar Artefact: simple, refined menu with quality ingredients, as well as a selection of carefully crafted house cocktails.. Reservation recommended. Hours: daily, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included in all rates. It is served daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the main restaurant.

Is the hotel near public transport and Old Québec?
The Auberge is a one-minute walk from a bus stop that takes you quickly to the Upper Town. We're also a stone's throw from the ferry to the city of Lévis. Just next to the hotel, you'll find electric-assist bicycles from Quebec City À vélo.

Auberge Saint-Antoine is ideally located in Old Québec City, close to a variety of cultural activities, restaurants, shops, and parks such as the Plains of Abraham. Our concierge can provide personalized recommendations for your stay.
Shows and Events
Nearby, several performance venues are easily accessible: Théâtre Petit-Champlain and Palais Montcalm in Old Québec. The Videotron Centre is reachable in under an hour by bus. In July, the Québec City Summer Festival is conveniently located near the hotel, allowing you to enjoy it without public transport.
Historic Old Québec tours: Guided tours led by local guides are available. We partner with Québec 1608, offering a tour of Old Québec City and a historical visit of the Auberge in English.
Museums: The Musée de la Civilisation is located just across from the hotel. The Musée des Beaux-Arts is easily reachable via bus line 11. The Musée naval de Québec, a few minutes on foot, is perfect for exploring the city’s naval history (free entry).
How close is the Auberge to AML cruises?
